Ford Escape Road Test

The new breed of Ford Escape is an excellent and very affordable vehicle that’s
big enough to look and feel enough like a truck but its more car like, and most
of all it’s of real fuel economy. The Escape has the on-wheel-drive system that
sends to the rear the drive of up to 50 percent. If the road gets stickier, a
dash-mounted can be switched to lock the power train, turning the Escape into
a 50:50 all-wheel-drive machine. Escape wagon is not for rough and tumble work.
The four-cylinder V6 engine ha brisk acceleration paved and unpaved road although
noisy when punched to its last power. It is agile in handling through tight spots
but light on the open road. Ford Escape rocks in a hard place and less likely
to get stuck on rough surfaces. Ford’s ubiquitous Duratec V6 engine Trac drive
system took all that was good.
