Ford Escape Gas Mileage

The world’s first hybrid electric sports utility vehicle averaged more than 38 miles per gallon. Ford Escape, after being driven for more than 37 hours traveled 576 miles on a single gas tank, also a tank on a severe traffic condition drive. Escape Hybrid proves to be the cleanest and most fuel efficient SUV. Hybrid has the combined conventional gasoline engine with an electric motor, and a big storage battery for improved fuel economy and reduce pollution. Offers an electric motor that runs mainly at lower speeds and then the gasoline engine takes over.

Electric engine with high torque can produce quick start from a dead stop. It has a horsepower electric motor of 94 while 133-horsepower four-cylinder gas engine and 2.3-liter 2005 model gets about 38-mpg, approximately 50 percent better gas-mileage than a conventional Escape. It features a gasoline engine that automatically shuts off when in an idle. Low-mileage vehicle like the SUV is far more helpful to reducing emissions and conserving gasoline than a high-mileage one
