It has new headlamps and fascia in back, a more refined interior for extraordinary comfort. An automatic transmission is now available, therefore increasing its power. The 2.0-liter cylinder was changed to 2.3-liter gas engine teamed with an electric motor, with excellent fuel economy. 2005 Ford Escape offers an improved quality of an optional Safety Canopy System. It has inflated side curtain airbags that protects the people on board even in a rollover accident.
